FILL GAP IN COVERAGE FOR PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

January 1, 2010

Q: I have a pre existing condition that my new insurance will not cover until after 12 months. Does this insurance cover pre existing conditions?

A: While no insurance will provide 100% protection in this case, the supplemental insurance that best covers pre-existing conditions is "Core Health Insurance". This policy is available in most states and pays benefits in addition to whatever benefits your primary insurance may provide. The provisions for covering pre-existing medical conditions are more liberal than other similar insurance. Only the hospitalization benefits are limited during the first twelve months of the policy; other benefits are not affected.  This policy is available regardless of your past medical history and the cost can be modified to fit your budget depending on the level of benefits you select. Much more information is available in the article "A Review of Core Health Insurance".
