Chemo patient under Core Health Insurance
Q: On the Core Health plans is it being stated that you only can see the doctor 5 times at his office in a given year? What about chemo patients?
A: Just to be precise on the wording, Core Health Insurance covers up to five doctor office visits per year, including chemo patients, but of course you can and should see the doctor as often as possible. The limit is because Core Health Insurance is best used as a supplemental coverage in combination with other insurance. This limited benefit insurance would be ineffective and unsuitable as the only coverage for a cancer patient.
