KENTUCKY SUPPLEMENTAL COVERAGE

January 1, 2010

Q: I am employed by AT&T in Louisville, KY. As you may know, AT&T does pay for their employee's Health, Vision, and Dental care, however, the coverage has around a $1100 deductible. I am looking for a supplemental policy that would cover, what the AT&T coverage does not, like amounts applied to the annual deductibles. I tried to get a quote on your website, but it would not allow me to enter my state.

A: Please see the list of supplemental health insurance policies available in Kentucky at http://www.medsave.com/low-cost-health-insurance-listing/ky.htm . The available choices are:

    Basic Health Insurance

    Core Health Plans

    Value Health Insurance

    Value Med Health Insurance

    Value Hospital Insurance

Value Benefits 24 Hour Accident Coverage

You may use any of these plans individually or in combination of two or more to increase coverage. All of these plans use online pricing and enrollment except Value Health and Value Hospital which use a downloadable brochure and mailed or fax-in application. If you have trouble with any of these plans, please let us know.
