A: The Review of American Health Shield Short Term Medical Insurance article was expanded to include the dollar limitations for various treatments under the section "Limitations of Coverage" section. The "Covered Charges" section was also expanded to include more detail and explanation determination and of "ordinary and necessary medical expenses". The benefit limits are similar to most other short term major medical policies with an overall $1 million maximum coverage with lower limits set for specific medical issues like AIDS, ambulance charges, chiropractic treatment, home care and nursing home costs, organ transplants and others.
